South Lakes Lodges Terms and Conditions

Arrival/Departure Your lodge will be available from 4pm on the day of arrival. Your lodge should be vacated by 10am on your day of departure unless otherwise agreed.

Electrical equipment For your safety and the safety of others, only electrical equipment supplied is to be used.

Fishing and non motorised watersports are available on the lake situated in the Leisure Village.

Parking Cars and other vehicles are accepted on the site at the owners risk. A car parking space is available at the side of the lodge.

Smoking We would be grateful if those wishing to smoke would do so on the veranda and extinguish cigarettes in the bucket of sand provided.

Pets Dogs are most welcome at no additional cost. Please bring your pet basket with you as dogs are allowed in the lodge on the understanding that they are not allowed on the bedding or furniture. Please do not leave your dog unattended in the lodge if it is likely to become stressed. Please be advised that they are not allowed in the communal/playing areas, restaurant, bar or leisure centre. When you exercise your pet it must be on a lead and in the charge of an adult. In the interests of visitor safety and government legislation we are sorry that we cannot accept the following types of dog: American Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Fuila Brasilerio and Dogo Argentino, even when these are muzzled as required by law. Any other type of dog, which could present a danger or alarm to other visitors, is also excluded.

The small print

South Lakes Lodges do not accept liability to any person or member of the holiday booking for any personal injury, sickness, loss or damage to personal property however sustained or caused, nor for the loss or theft of property and/or money.

South Lakes Lodges reserves the right to forthwith terminate any letting in the event that the hirer or any of the hirer's party cause any deliberate or negligent damage to the property being let, or behaves in such a way as to cause or constitute a nuisance to adjoining lodges. In such cases the hirer shall remain liable for the cost of any damage and not be entitled to a refund for any unused portion of the let.

Young all male or all female groups are not normally accepted during main family holiday periods, and at other times only at the discretion of South Lakeland Leisure Village management.
